Final Project Prototypes

Writer: Alexis SandersAlexis Sanders

For my final project, I want to build off my I/O project that created a combination lock. I realized when programming this that it was similar to a game type breadboard or something to fidget with. I thought a game would be a nice challenge to create with Arduino and p5, especially since it's something I'm struggling with a little more. I've researched some of the types of games that can be created in p5 and I'm thinking about creating a snake type game where the user has to use the buttons to grab something on the screen. I thought about using the potentiometers or one of the other sensors to create some movement, but I think that might be more confusing for the user. I want to try to mimic the video game systems that people are used to. I still want to implement the reset button whether that's in p5 or on the bread board or both. I also want to try and create some casing for the controller and removing the long wires to get more of the video game feel. I've created what I think I want to the breadboard to look like and some sketches of what I want everything to look like. Next I'm going to program the breadboard and figure out how to get everything to work with p5.

My bill of materials is wires, buttons, a potentiometer, breadboard and an Arduino.
