When I started this lab, I was really apprehensive as to what to expect and what the outcome was going to be. I have never really had any experience with electronics and programming like this. I started going step by step in the lab and found the actual construction of the breadboard to be relatively easy. I did have a hard time figuring out how to connect the top half of the breadboard to the other side since there weren't any explicit instructions on how to do this. I completed this by playing around with the connections and figuring out where the wires needed to go. One thing that confused me the most was why wires were being placed where they were and what the differences are between the nodes on the sides of the Arduino board. I also didn't really understand how everything worked and connected schematically, but I figured out most of the connections after I finished the construction and programmed it. The coding part wasn't too difficult since I was just copying the code, but I wanted to find a more detailed explanation on all the different variables and functions and their meaning.
