Lab: Intro to Asynchronous Serial Communications

This lab started off a little difficult because I wasn't really clear on the directions of what to do without the accelerometer. I was able to follow the link to what you should do if the accelerometer is built in a nd copied that code to start receiving information from the accelerometer. Once I figured out how to download the library, I also had a problem with following the instructions about playing around with the Serial Monitor, especially since all of the instructions were for Mac or Linux and I have a windows computer. I couldn't get any of those commands to work. Then I tried going in with the lab, but overall it was really confusing. I didn't understand how to use the analog functions when there was nothing in my program to connect to. Hopefully I'll understand some more after class, but this lab wasn't really making sense to to me.
