Conduct one weekly experiment in visual audio or other material in your subject of interest. This can include sketches, material or physical experiments but should have a component of engagement with another human being

For my experiment, I created a speculative poster for what ads could potentially look like for sponsored VR travel. I spent the week conducting research on the current economy of VR and tourism, what people believe it could be and where the future of VR and tourism is heading. I want to lean more in this direction in trying to figure out this topic and where exactly I want to go with it.
Build a visual representation to represent your personal or emotional connection to the topic and goals for your project

This was a collage that I had created back when I first started IMA Low Res in our Design for Communication class. I created this collage because it represented my desire to travel and move away from my hometown. Traveling to different states and countries has played a huge role in my life and I try to find any excuse to explore more places. The travel associated with this program was also an aspect of my decision into joining the Low Res program. I've always been interested in learning more about different technologies and something that I have explored in this program a little bit is blending seemingly unrelated topics together and looking at that speculative future. I want to explore the impact and future of VR and tourism as it's a huge market to tap into that could have a big impact on our economy as well as our society.

Wander: website
A VR game that utilizes Google Maps to allow people to travel and experience different places all across the world. You are able to explore and move around these different places like you can on Google Maps just in VR. You're also able to look back at what the places used to look like and research more information about these places. While it's only available on an Oculus device, it has many similar features that I want to explore like
National Geographic VR: website
This is another VR experience where you are sent to different places and have to take different pictures to complete the mission. This experience is really interesting as it's much more interactive with the surroundings.
